Even with the clock going back last week, the time change did not feel good for me. I check in on my wellness indicators (AKA signs of burnout) each morning in my daily journal. For almost two years of doing this, on my worst days, I have had 3-4 signs that I have to slow down and pay attention. If possible, I have taken a day off to rejuvenate and that seems to take care of things. This week, there were three days in a row where I had 6-7 signs!!! (there are only 8 in total.)…and there was no chance to take a day off with all that was happening. I was pretty close to burnout and not able to do my usual recovery strategies!
